Seven | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Jay Carr Boston Globe When Seven, with its velvety world of bottomless evil, taps you on the shoulder, your instinct will be to dive under the theater seat. Mar 29, 2024 Full Review Seven | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Michael H. Price Fort Worth Star-Telegram/DFW.com I wouldn't go so far as to call David Fincher's Seven the most terrifying film ever, but it's right up there on the top shelf with Psycho and The Silence of the Lambs. Rated: 4.5/5 Mar 29, 2024 Full Review Seven | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Gene Siskel Chicago Tribune The results of the killings are needlessly grotesque and don't really serve the smart screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker and the artful direction of David Fincher. All of this talent is worth seeing if you can look past the gruesome details. Rated: 3/4 Mar 29, 2024 Full Review Seven | Rotten Tomatoes (4) John Scalzi Fresno Bee Seven doesn't take you to hell and back; it takes you to hell and keeps you there, looking around and wondering how it had come to this. Rated: A- Mar 29, 2024 Full Review Seven | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Quentin Curtis Independent on Sunday There is no denying that Seven is a deeply unpleasant movie. But I believe it is a fine one, too. It doesn't glory in its depravity, but keeps a distance from it. Mar 29, 2024 Full Review Seven | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Bill DuPre News & Observer (Raleigh, NC) All the literary allusions and cinema school self-consciousness can't save Fincher from drowning in the tawdry waste of this dreadful, brutal, abusive movie. Go, our little moviemaker, and sin no more. Rated: 1/4 Mar 29, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/06/24 Full Review Max W Loved the noir art deco New York aesthetics and Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman's synergy. Hated how the movie ended just like that. Man that was rough Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/13/24 Full Review Rachel E Dreary and gloomy, just like the crimes, Se7en, is an intense, psychological thriller. Freeman, who others find to be rather disagreeable, is a breath of fresh air with his intellect and feel for the criminal mind and the type of detective I think all of us crave. A wonderfully written screenplay turned into a great movie. I only wish that the director had shown what happens to Mills and Somerset in the end. Read the book to find out more. They are going to investigate on the murder of a obese man. Quickly, multiple other cases come one after another. The two inspector starts to make a link with all of those cases. The plots is absorbing because there always is a new murders that are happening and it makes you stay concentrated on the movie. The photography is incredible and impressive, it’s very well executed. The acting is amazing, all of the characters of the film are very good actors and make us stay focused on the movie.
