We are in town visiting family and came here. (Very good)The Ajillo was tender and cooked well. The Thai seasoning was really goodSkip the nugs as they were over cooked and chewy. Not great.Thai grouper as the special was really good. Probably the best dish we had.The cuipinno was fine but the class were over cooked. Too bad.The pecan grouper was good. The asparagus was overcooked so it wasn't great. The grouper was awesome tho.The service was great and friendly.

NO! No , I am a local. This used to be the place to always get a good meal. So sad , not anymore. I chose the filet $$55.00 with potatoes and vegetable. My boyfriend got the whole snapper $48.00Thai style w/ rice and veggies. The Demi glaze on my steak was so salty I couldn’t even swallow it. I love salt.My potatoes tasted old did not taste like a potato. My boyfriend who normally clears his plate could not even finish his food it was not even edible as he says. The rice was hard. The vegetables were dry with no flavor. Maybe they forgot the sauce. Don’t waste your money🤙🏼💙

OK, the food is better than average, HOWEVER. I'm going to be hypercritical in my review because frankly, it's WAY overpriced. I understand the "when in Rome" of being trapped on an island, but $8 for a side of hush puppies? I ordered shrimp and grits for $40, it was at most $20 of food, and I eat shrimp and grits quite a bit. Wife's grouper was delicious, PERHAPS worth the $45 price, but I eat that quite a bit too and it is usually $30-$40 and arguably just as good. The place itself is clean, comfortable-we were here around 6pm on a Friday. Drinks seemed watered down.My recommendation, don't fall for a tourist trap. Way better seafood out there.

I ordered the Blackened Fish Alfredo. The fish (grouper) was great but the fettuccini alfredo had no flavor (no garlic, no parmesan)! I've made better at home! My husband ordered the Grouper & Clams and he liked the entree but it wasn't stellar. I am surprised by this since I've heard from others that this place is fantastic. Not so much in our case, plus they tried to charge us for a dessert we never ordered. Weird.

I gave this 2 stars because of the class this restaurant is in. If you are going to charge 49.00 for some shrimp and grits they better be on a whole different level, but they were not. The serving was small and the shrimp was overcooked. We also had the grouper and it was dry. It didn’t seem fresh. The food was amazing, and the bar tender was helpful and a bunch of laughs. He fit right into our crazy group. The burger was the best I ever had, and my friends thought the lobster Mac n cheese was beyond delicious!! 5 stars definitely!!

We arrived Friday for our reservation at 7:30 and I could tell.by the hosts face something was up. He told us that they had to move us off the new outside deck to an inside table but that our inside table was also not available. We reserved the new covered deck as that's where the live music is. He didn't even apologize but told us he could probably squeeze us in the tiny inside bar. We declined and left. Fine dining prices to be stuffed at a tiny bar...no thanks. Something similar happened the last time we tried to dine there. We will never try again. BE WARNED.. reservations don't mean anything to them! Apparently they are surviving on a never ending line of new tourists. Thanks Blue Marlin for ruining our date night.

We came out to grab a bite on a weekday evening. The website recommended putting a reservation down, but it wasn’t too busy and we were sat right away. The hostess was welcoming and friendly and took us to an outdoor table. The seating area itself was well decorated and overall had a really nice atmosphere.After we were sat our waiter met us right away, but I think he may have forgotten us as it was longer than expected for him to come back to take our drink/meal orders. We ended up ordering the House Salad, Potato Soup, the Scallops, and the Grouper Dijonnaise. Everything was pretty good, but the Grouper and its sides were a bit lacking in flavor and the fish was a tad tougher than you’d expect at the price point. Overall we had a decent time, but based on this initial visit it wouldn’t be a *first* recommendation with all the options around.

They had my favorite drink of peanut butter whiskey on the rocks.😁 Fun place to hang out

Always good food, good service, good atmosphere! Definitely one of our favorite places on the island and somewhere where we take family who are visiting from out of town!

Blue Marlin is an excellent option for an outdoor beach scene with decent seafood. The menu is on the smaller side and the options are pricier than surrounding places. The complimentary edamame was unique and one of favorite parts of our dining experience here.I highly recommend ordering the shrimp and grits even if you think it is lame to order out since it’s an easy meal to make in your own home. They have some of the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had!The catch of the day was grouper paired with a pineapple salsa, rice pilaf, and broccoli. This was a good but not spectacular meal and was overall kind of bland.The lobster grilled cheese was extremely good but would not recommend ordering that at a place like Blue Marlin.

The whole experience was amazing. The food is fresh and all the dishes is especially delicious, I can't describe it in words. The guy who served us was a very nice person. The music and the place is inviting, cozy and relaxing. Highly recommend it.

Stopped in with my family on our first night in on Anna Maria Island. Our waitress, Suzie, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave us some excellent recommendations. We tried the fresh catch of the day, Grouper Tacos, Fried Shrimp, and the Pear Cheesecake for dessert. We all thought our meals were excellent and would definitely go again.We also sat at the outside seating as the sea breeze and view of the pier were lovely. But we did also stop inside to look around and there were some lovely fish tank installations and just an overall pleasant aesthetic to the place. Our family gives 2 thumbs up and recommend to anyone!

Prime location and incredible patio. Have fans outside that cool it off; it’s on a corner right across the street from the pier.The service was friendly - from hostess to server.The food was good not amazing. The grouper tacos were good but a little lacking in any flavor. The fried cheese was the same - good but lacking in flavor.The carnitas were good. Our favorite of the whole meal was the calamari appetizer.

Great atmosphere especially if you’re there with kids, they have a big salt water aquarium in the middle by the bar. Food is great and fresh, a must have is the baked brie, the grouper sandwich, kie lime pie and the smoked martini. They don’t take reservations so you’ll wait may be long, but it’s worth it, eve though it’s quite expensive. The service is very good as well.

I will never ever get tired of the place..one of my favorite restaurants EVER. We have come to this place for years and have never had a bad meal. We love the menu (we love coming for lunch), the atmosphere, and the views. You really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but the blackened Grouper Sandwich is the best on the island. If you’re coming to Anna Maria Island, this place will be a must time and time again when you visit—just like it has turned into for me!

The setting for this restaurant is beautiful. We arrived without a reservation and luckily got to sit outside on the porch. The people were so kind a seat came available when we walked up and we were seated quickly. Our server was right there and made the rest of our meal great. I had the blackened grouper tacos my wife had the beat salad with blackened grounder both servings of fish were large and very tasty. The key lime pie put the meal over the top with flavor. Thank you so much for the great service and food!!

Perfect atmosphere! While waiting for our table, we walked along the pier and caught the sunset. Dinner was amazing, service was great, and the drinks were just right! Laura our server, even made the night special for my date who was celebrating her birthday. I highly recommend!

Loved this place! Delicious co*cktails & fresh seafood. The bread is also amazing. Perfect place to go for a nice dinner after a day on the beach. Afterwards we went on a walk down Anna Maria City Pier to take in the beautiful views. Definitely will be back!

Waterfront restaurant is a misnomer. There's actually a street and parking that separates you from the water, not very picturesque. However, you can walk down the pier either while you wait to get in or after your meal for some beautiful water views. The restaurant fills up very quickly for dinner. They don't serve dinner till 4:30 but by 5:30 there is a line. We arrived at 5 and it was a 45min wait to sit inside.However it is worth the wait. The food is absolutely delicious! Their table bread is so good! The shrimp and grits are incredible and so was the brie. I had the wasabi crusted tuna, but if I could redo it I'd pick something different.

The location and ambiance, as do your companions, also set the tone of a dining experience.Many factors must come together to elevate your dining experience, and on a Wednesday afternoon on Anna Maria Island on the Gulf Coast of Florida, those factors combined, and my wife, mother-in-law, and I had the lunch of a lifetime.From the lively King Pao Calamari Curl plate smothered with three or more types of onions, banana peppers galore, and the shocker chunks of feta, we knew this was the right place to be. We were seated on the open-air porch on the first full day of spring with an incredibly kind and good-hearted waiter, Bob, who took care of us from start to finish, giving us delectable menu descriptions that had our full attention. The Cole Slaw sweetened with pineapple was another surprise, and the fried grouper sandwiches with an ever so delicate batter coating allowed the fish to shine through, and the house-made pickles were a fun flavor explosion, too.Having worked in the food industry for a few years, one of my pet peeves has always been serving a non-ripe tomato or allowing the stems of something as trivial as banana peppers to be served. As you can see from the photos, that was far from the case.Once lunch was over, I had a sneaky feeling that the desserts were homemade. While we were stuffed, even after splitting the grouper sandwich, I had to know, and they were.After we regained our appetites, we immensely enjoyed the Strawberry Cheesecake with its incredible crust, accompanied by an equally perfect slice of Key Lime pie.No plastic was harmed during our experience at The Waterfront, as they used heavier paper for straws, compostable take-home containers, and a paper bag to carry everything home. Kudos!!!!!!I neglected to mention the drinks; everything was made from scratch in a place where you can let your imagination run wild, my wife had the smoky Margarita...yum!In the words of the Terminator - "I'll be back."

Took the opportunity on our anniversary to celebrate at this fabulous restaurant with my wide. The food was well prepared and quite good. The drink selection was great and co*cktail choices were inventive and expansive. The attention paid to our experience from Jen was outstanding. She made great suggestions and was incredibly personable. As good as the restaurant was, the server was worth the experience alone! The views around the restaurant are unbelievable too. It's a great place to mark an important celebration.

My girlfriend’s and my experience were over the top! Our server Shawn or Sean or Shaun gave us and the surrounding area an above and beyond experience. Never did my glass go empty and the suggestions and descriptive specials were on point. It is our favorite place to go every time we visit but this was amazing! We had the Calamari, Blackened Grouper Sandwich, Fried Queso, and the Tuna Sashimi.

It can be very difficult to get in. We tried for several days and they were always packed full of people. A nice lady hostess (silver hair with a braid), maybe named Tammy if I remember right, helped give us tips to ensure being able to get in like arrive very early. That was what we had to do as they do not take reservations. The food here is delicious and was worth it. We had the pork belly and scallops as well as shrimp and grits. The drinks were crafted beautifully and delicious. We loved our Biscoff cheesecake we had at the end. Our waitress was kind and made great suggestions. What a lovely place. I just wish it accommodated more people and had a more predictable way to get in to make enjoying this food easier.

One of the best views on the island! The food is really good too. I’ve been coming to AMI for years and this is always one of my stops for lunch. I’ve liked most everything I’ve had on the menu. Sit outside even on a hot day because they always have cooling fans on.

Five stars across the board! Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Lobster Ravioli, and Frutti De Mar were perfect. The bar served a fantastic Smoked Margarita spiced with ginger syrup and a light coating of mezcal for smoky flavor. Perfect!. Key Lime Pie for dessert! We were seated on outside back patio with heaters that kept us comfortable. Could not have asked for a better evening!

Enjoyed our lunch, food was good and service was good. We sat on the back patio and it was very nice. The lobster bisque and calamari was wonderful, my grilled shrimp was a little too grilled (it was tough), my husband had the grouper sandwich and said it was good. We'd definitely go back to try it again.

Eating at this restaurant was an excellent choice. First of all, our server was great! 2 people in our group ordered drinks. I was told that this was the best jalapeño margarita they'd ever had (also the most expensive... $17 I think. She ordered 2 of them and said it was totally worth it). I had a taste and had to agree it was really good. I ordered the Winter Salad, which consisted of mixed greens, butternut squash, pomegranate, candied pecans, dried cherries, and goat cheese. I added grilled shrimp. It was very good! 2 people ordered the Caesar salad. The one pictured below was a request for grilled romaine instead of regular chopped up romaine. One of them loved the dressing, and the other said it needed more flavor, so it just depends on how you like your Caesar dressing, lol. Not pictured is the Tuna Sandwich on Rye w/ pineapple slaw, which I was told was excellent. Overall, we made a great choice by dining here and would definitely return when we visit AMI again.

We enjoyed our lunch today here. It was so nice to sit outside with the pretty views. The service was fantastic with Carrie serving us. Had the jerk shrimp and pineapple Cole slaw, burger and fries, the catch of the day was pompano and it was okay.

Great dining on Anna Maria island. We shared a couple great appetizers (calamari & crab dip) with excellent flavor. I had the shrimp & grits which was delicious but super rich. Views of the sound were phenomenal. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Very laid back vibe with good eats that kinda seemed like a local best kept secret kinda place.

Delicious seafood dishes! Indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff was knowledgeable about gluten free options. You may have to wait for a table on Friday or Saturday night but it’s worth the wait.

Great views from outdoor dining tables, friendly and fast service. Do not pass up the Lobster Bisque, it's beautifully rich and flavorful. The fish and chips were light and crispy and delicious. The portions are large so go hungry, share or make room in your fridge for your doggy bag! You won't be disappointed. The Oysters Rockefeller were delicious as well.

We had a group of four and this was our first time to try this place out. We started out with an appetizer and it was fresh and delecious. We all tried out different entrees and all of them were excellent. Mattison was our server and her attention to detail and her friendly attitude made for a nice dinner. Parking can be a little tight depending on the time of day you visit. There is inside and outside seating with a view off of the pier. This was one of the most satisfying meals we had on vacation in all the area.

We're lucky when came early yesterday afternoon, because the restaurant was really busy after that. The food is good, large portion. I love the atmosphere here, beautiful and peaceful.We enjoyed fishing in the pier behind the restaurant. There's a shop at the front that we can hire fishing rod and buy bait. Great experience.

Today we finally made our way to their Bridge St Pier location - the only one of their four we hadn't been to! We love Anna Maria Oyster Bar but this one is a bit tricky to park near so we hadn't gone until today.If you've been to their other locations you'll find that the menu is much smaller here but their view of the intercoastal well makes up for it! They have inside and outside seating, service is great as always and the food is delicious just as their other locations but this quaint calm sea water view is amazing.You will find all of their locations very accommodating too - I cannot have coleslaw due to a medical condition so I substituted it for the vegetable of the day without a problem.They're attached to the pier so you can stroll down to get even better views before or after eating. Lovely location - and if you do find you can't get a parking spot nearby you can take the Old Town Tram for free - but please be sure to tip the driver! Go to OldTownTram.com for more info.

Fast, friendly, fun, casual, inexpensive, and good.We will go back next time we are in town.Oysters from the Gulf of Mexico delivered fresh daily. Super clean and delicious tasting fish. Burger was above average for a seafood joint serving beef.Open kitchen (always feel good when I can see what’s going on in the kitchen☺️), quick service, and super hot food.Only downfall…parking. Go Early!!! This place is hopping & seating is limited. Great for the sea food lover. The Lobster Bisque surpassed expectations. The Smoked Fish Spread was delish. My picky younger child loved the wings! The hamburgers were tasty too!Savanah was very attentive & accommodating.

My server was Courtney. She was so friendly, extremely helpful. She recommended the Chipotle and Tequila Lime oysters. Honestly, I’ve tried a ton of oysters in Florida and all so overtly baked, greasy, etc.. these were perfect! Absolutely delicious and I’m happy I asked for the servers recommendation. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ thanks to the staff for giving me such a wonderful experience while visiting my mom!

We ate here with a group of 11. Had to wait quite a bit but there is very limited seating inside so it is understandable. The good thing is there are several options to keep yourself busy while you wait as you can explore the pier and look for the heart shaped rock. Or you can visit one of the many bars they have within walking distance while you wait. I got the shrimp and scallops and they were very good. The scallops were a little on the smaller side but they were good. We also got a ahi tuna stack special that they made with crab. Very good. A few in our group got the all you can eat fish and chips and it was a lot of food on the first go round. I would def come back here to eat. Beautiful restaurant on the pier with stunning water/bridge views. Great service, delicious food! There are shore birds who patrol for food scraps and I commend the staff for trying to keep them at bay. If you would be bothered by them, eat inside. We didn't mind.

The view from the deck is definitely the most beautiful on the island. I tasted their catch of the day, blackened grouper with green beans and really really liked it. I also tasted their pink flamingo and highly recommend it.

While sightseeing in the area on a rainy night we saw the clock tower and all the lights. Once we realized that there was a restaurant on the pier we went inside and were greeted with a smile and quickly seated. We started with a local draft and tried the Crab Stack. Really yummy and delicious. We tried a dozen baked oysters with cheesy garlic and Rockefeller which were really tasty. I could have eaten two dozen but it was getting dark and cold out so decided to call it a night. Highly recommend this place as the staff were very friendly and made our visit very enjoyable.

Our friends brought us here in their boat at the Bradenton Beach dock. Amazing lunch. The four of us had the Wolf Fish and Grouper sandwich, Cheese Grits, Fish and Chips and house salad. Everything was delicious. Drinks were very reasonable too. Would love to visit again. (Were visiting from Boston)

The view and atmosphere here is hard to beat, especially if you seat outside.We had the fish and chips and there were alright, not the best I’ve had.The dirty monkey co*cktail was delicious!The raw oysters were fresh and HUGE! Also a good price.

I've been to two other AM Oyster bar locations and had good experiences so I thought I'd check out the one actually on the island. It smaller than I expected so we had to wait a few minutes for a table but they had a bar so no problem. The restaurant is on a pier and has an amazing view. Our server, Carlos, had a great personality and was helpful. We started with grouper bites, followed by a cheese burger and a chicken sandwich. Everything was good. My only complaint, and it's a big one, is that we were seated in a patio section that has pigeons. Rats with wings at your feet and ready to pounce on your food if you aren't careful. I can't imagine it's a sanitary situation. If they could do something about that I'd come back. Otherwise, no.

First time here, and it was a breath of fresh air after having bad service down the road. Just sat at the bar. The bartender, Jason, was attentive and friendly. Drinks were really good. Had the conch fritter app and was delicious. Short visit, but based on my experience, I will definitely be back for dinner.

Great food and drinks. Been here a few times and it is always great. Service has usually been great, but most recent visit our service was sub-par. Missed order of oysters, server was odd and barely spoke, dropped food off without saying a word. And drinks were slow to come out. But as I said, the food and drinks and atmosphere are great. I’ll come again and hope this was a fluke.

We stopped here after doing a boat tour nearby as my friend in our group was craving oysters. They have a great location on off the pier at the end of Bridge Street. Very short wait to be seated. Happy hour start time is strictly enforced.Our group had many different entrees with mixed reviews. My $29 swordfish was good but dry. I should have added a premium topping for $3.49. The side salad I had (also a up-charge) was excellent. The lobster bisque was average.The good news is that their raw oysters were the correct temperature and were very good.Indoor/outdoor high and low top seating. If you sit outside you will have a great view but don’t leave your food unattended or it becomes the pigeons! Rude server. Prices were okay but I don’t like getting up charged for everything.Final vote: unfortunately average. I ate seafood all week long in AMI and the prices, service and pigeons brought them to where they landed. Sorry.

We had a great meal here. The popularity of this place is evident: we waited 30 minutes for a table early on a weekday evening. But it was well worth it. Service was quick and friendly, and the teamwork between the staff was evident. The food was delicious. We had the smoked fish dip to start and it was excellent. I had whole snapper as entree, and it was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Maybe the best 'house salad' as a side. It came with blueberries and goat cheese... yummy. I'll definitely be back.

We were driving around the island since we just arrived and stumbled onto this area. So cool. Feels like a key west vibe. Our first stop was at Anna Maria Oyster Bar for a drink. Decided on an appetizer of smoked fish spread. The drinks were fair but inexpensive. The fish spread was tasty. Anytime you can eat and drink watching the water is beautiful. There was one bartender. She handled the bar and restaurant and did the best she could under those circ*mstances.

Our 3rd AMOB dinner location did not disappoint, although parking is difficult. Our server Emily greeted us with a genuine smile and was very attentive given a packed restaurant. The views of water surrounded us while we dined. Our meals came quickly and were prepared with experience. Blackened swordfish, slaw, and cheese grits for me, and shrimp and grits for my wife. Highly recommend!!!

Family friendly bar/restaurant by the water. Sauted clams were the best! Server was friendly. co*cktails were good. The only problem is that they serve you in plastic cups.

Great restaurant! We had the fish tacos and seafood combo (grilled). Both were excellent. We also ordered the grouper bites (highly recommend). We sat at the bar so we did have to wait for an outside table. Service was excellent and our food came out very quickly. The restaurant seems very efficiently ran. From the people in the parking lot making sure there is a spot available to the way the staff was constantly restocking kegs, beer, wine etc to keep the bar running smoothly. Everyone seemed to be doing their best to make sure customers were taken care of. We will be back again!

I went here because of the great reviews, it’s nothing special at all. They have fresh caught Grouper, so does every other place around the area. There fries are terrible (frozen), they give you cheap potatoe chips (not homemade) and there coleslaw is awful, for what they charge it should be so much better. I’m not promoting any other restaurants that’s why I’m not giving names but the others we went to were so much better in the area, reviews are deceiving.If you’re looking for a great view while eating that this place does offer.

We were looking for the local gem and found it today!! When we arrived 2 nice ladies directed is to a parking spot. You enter from the back of the building and there is indoor or outdoor seating. I saw a stack of highchairs, so consider this a family friendly restaurant. The grouper is caught locally daily. We shared a combo basket and the grouper basket, and a piece of homemade key lime pie. Our server was very helpful with recommendations, and his service was excellent!! The food was cooked perfectly & arrived to the table hot! We are planning to go back one more time before we leave Bradenton Beach. Put Tide Tables at the top of your must try list. Oh--- the fries were a real suprise-- they were awesome, just like the rest of the meal.

Dinner on the beach at sunset! My only regret is I devoured my food too quickly to take a picture! Seriously though, great food and service. The view and atmosphere are top notch. You must try the grouper in this area, it's local and delicious!

This place came highly recommended from a friend whom frequents the area a few times a year. We showed up right before Tides Table opens at 1120 and there were already people waiting outside.We ordered the grilled grouper sandwich and the tacos made with blackened grouper. Both were amazing!!!!!The staff was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely visit the next time we are in the area

Awesome fresh Grouper right at the docks. You would probably drive past this place if you didn't see the positive reviews. We have eaten here 6 times, and the quality of fish, along with the generous portions, keep us coming back. We also enjoy the deep-fried mushrooms. We shared the very authentic (tart and creamy) Key Lime pie. If you don't mind sitting outside, enjoying the salt air and boats passing by, then I would recommend Tide Tables to you.

This was our first visit and we came by boat. The entire experience was outstanding. From the dockmaster who helped us secure the boat to the hostess that seated us at a beautiful table out overlooking the water to the waitress and food. Prepare that prepared a fabulous lunch for our party at four.Will be back again when we’re out pursuing fun in the sun and boating. Bravo tide tables you guys did a great job.

This establishment is fantastic. I had a white and red wine with ribs and beans. The food was tasty and filling! The ribs were smoked onsite. You'd think turf at a surf joint would be lacking, not the case. The other time I was here, I got a mahi sandwich that was also exceptional. The service was also so warm.They have expanded their outdoor seating area, and set up an adjacent bar on the pier. Business stroke of genius for waiting patrons. This little place has amazing, fresh seafood! We had the grouper bites and tried grouper cheeks for the first time, and they were delicious! It rained while we were there, but we stayed under the outside bar and just watched the clouds roll in... do awesome! Can't wait to go back!

Tide Tables offers beautiful views while dining outside. It gets very busy so plan on having a drink while sitting on the dock. Be sure to bring cash if you buy a pre-dinner drink from the tiki bar as they will only take cash. You can use a credit card once you are seated. The fish tacos are the way to go! Atmosphere is fantastic though it can get a bit toasty if you are not under an umbrella. Food is always fresh and fantastic. Service is better sometimes than others. All in all this is a great place to eat!

Ate here for lunch with a couple friends and we found out why the parking lot is always packed! Tried the special they were having - lobster and crab ravioli and it was DELICIOUS. Everyone else in my group ordered something different and everyone loved what they got.

Come enjoy the rustic vibe on the water! You have to eat the fish! We started with 2 soups: chicken and kielbasa and the grouper bisque. Both had great flavor! Next we enjoyed the Mahi Mahi grilled and fried in a basket. We also had the blackened scallops and fish tacos. The coleslaw was delicious with added pineapple! The fries were crispy! The key lime pie really was a fantastic ending! Our waitress Heather was friendly and efficient! Highly recommend! We will be back!

We'd driven past this place more than once coming in and out of AMI the last couple of years and really never even noticed it...except that the parking lot was generally always full.So after checking around it seemed that the people who responded to my questions were very high on rating this place as a great place to get some great local food....They were correct!The hostess was very accommodating to our needs and found us seating quicker than anticipated. The server was a bit slow on the soda refills though, which is a pet peeve of mine.The Fish Tacos were Blackened Mahi with a sesame-ginger sauce....ohhh baby are they tasty!Blackened Mojo Chicken for the Mrs was rated as excellent as well. Our associate had the Fried Mahi dinner and it looked as good as it was in size...a good portion!The sides were average fair but decent...no complaints just seemed abit short as compared to the meals.We'll definitely be back again in the future.Watched the end of a beautiful sunset as we waited to be seated...good time!

After reading/hearing many great recommendations, we finally visited and had a fantastic meal and experience. The simple little outdoor bar and dinning patio on the bay are a perfect place to enjoy this fresh caught seafood. J-Lo had the Mahi Tacos and I has the combo fried seafood box of grouper, scallops and shrimp with delicious smoked, baked beans and pineapple slaw. We were just over in Bradenton Beach and decided to cross the bridge to Cortez and hit this place for dinner after seeing the reviews. The parking attendants were professional and directed us where to park and enter the restaurant.No wait to sit inside for a party of 5. We ordered breaded mushrooms, peal & eat shrimp and conch fritters for an appetizer. All were average with the fritters being too dark. I had a bowl of lobster and potato soup that was excellent and the best I had on AMI with large pieces of lobster. My main entree was the blackened combo platter. The shrimp and scallops along with the mahi mahi were good but not blackened as requested but more of a bronze. I enjoyed the side of smoked baked beans and a very small side of pineapple coleslaw. The award winning key lime pie was very good but not the best I had in AMI. A little too sweet.The shock top pitchers of beer were the most affordable we had on our vacation and poured into frosted mugs.High/low picnic and bar seating. Indoor/outdoor bar. Deck with water views. Economical serving items from styrofoam plates and bowls, paper menus to plasticware. Small discount for cash payment. Excellent service from our 9 year veteran Virginia. Pricing is on the high side for the setting. Virginia brought it up to the 4 star ⭐️ overall rating. I probably would return for lunch and sit on the deck to give them another try.

We ate peel and eat shrimp, combo basket and fish tacos, they were all delicious, you have to wait about 1 hour before sitting at the table, but it's worth it, the service is fast and the team is friendly.

Views are great. Ordered the NY strip with peppercorn sauce. Awesome! Cole slaw was average, fries were good. Chocolate cake didn't have enough chocolate flavor in the frosting. We arrived to Anna Maria Island and Sandbar was our 1st stop after an early morning flight from Denver.It was about 2pm local time. Everything from start to finish was lovely. Parking was no problem because of the valet. The hostess seated us inside where the views were still beautiful.Katherine was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. She knew where the oysters were from and other items on the menu. The dozen we ordered were beautiful.My husband and I grew up on the gulf coast and both wanted shrimp. He had fried shrimp, and I ordered the stuffed shrimp.We have now eaten at a few restaurants here & Sandbar has been our favorite overall. EVERYTHING on the plate was prepared with wonderful flavors and cooked perfectly. The french fries w the fried shrimp omgosh good; and the green beans, carrots, & rice with the stuffed shrimp plate yum!Highly recommend Sandbar! We will definitely be back if we visit AMI again!

I expected this place to have a wonderful waterfront view and entirely mediocre food. What a surprise when they brought out fantastic food. I got a great sunset view, outdoor dining, great service, and first rate food.I could barely walk away, I ate so much. The cornbread here is so good it should be considered a dessert. My meal was superb. The appetizers were superb. Go here if you are in town. You will not regret it.

Worth the wait! We grabbed a drink and hung out on the beach with the kids enjoying the gorgeous sunset view until our table was ready. Once at our table, we had an amazing waitress and the food was delicious. We even picked up some cute Sandbar merch on our way out 😊 Great location and atmosphere

This is an excellent restaurant on the beach it's a must if you visit AMI. We sat outdoors and the view of the beach was beautiful, arrived around 4 pm so there was not much wait time to find a good table max 15 minutes wait. They have valet parking which I used for my golf cart, the valet guys were so nice. People can hang outside restaurant on the beach while waiting for a table too . Best Sunset views if you arrive close to sunset but that's their busy time. The food was very delicious. We had the fried calamari which was fresh and good. Fish tacos were great they come with beans and rice ,Cobia burger with fries, Blackened Fish sandwich.The key lime pie was so good too. Service was excellent and everyone we encountered was very friendly!

Insanely beautiful restaurant - I was here 8 years ago and now again and am still thrilled. The food is good, but not absolutely stunning. Fresh and delicious.But what is absolutely insane about this restaurant is the atmosphere. Eating here in the evening, feet in the sand and watching the sunset is just indescribably beautiful. If you are on AMI, you should definitely have experienced this once.However, the waiting time is quite long and you should bring enough time while waiting for a free table. However, it is absolutely worth it!

We absolutely love the Sandbar! Delicious food with a view of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! The pina colada’s are delicious! I had the braised short rib with a side of cheese grits. They have inside and outside dining as well as valet parking. Our server took very good care of us. Definitely a must try if you are on Anna Maria Island!

Aaron served me the best snapper meal I have ever had! I want clean healthy meals mostly and it’s so hard to find.The veggies were the perfect crispness green beans ever alongside the most flavorful rice without too much seasoning. This restaurant is perfect in many ways, but the most important thing for me was the service, the waiter Cassy, he was great, so patient. As a tourist doesn’t speak fluent English, sometimes people don't have patience, and we feel bad and lower, but he insisted on explaining everything, every doubt had about the menu, he even gave me some tips that I asked in English, seriously he was amazing.It had been a long time since I had been so well served by a waiter here in the United States.The view from the restaurant at sunset is amazing, I paid every penny happily!The food is wonderful, you felt the flavors of the drinks and the desserts.I LOVED IT!Thank you Cassy!( I don’t know how write your name, but you are amazing) You made me feel special, and my experience complete!I recommend this restaurant and especially this waiter!

Great service by Lauren who even provided food samples however my wife’s fish was overcooked and tasted like the oil needed to be changed in the fryer. That being said. My octopus was super delicious and so was the calamari. The view is spectacular and unbeatable anywhere else. Go treat yourself to this gem for sure

Eat directly on the beach with your toes in the sand if you would like. There's also inside dining for those weirdos that come to beach but don't like sand. ;)We both had the incredible burger with pimento cheese, fried tomato, bacon, and sweet tomato jam. We agreed that it was one of the best burgers we've ever eaten! I asked for extra jam and it made it even better!

Went here in a party of two, had an owner set reservation for us. Very nice atmosphere with convenient bar service while waiting for our table to be ready. Food was pretty great, we had ordered the artisanal bread basket, calamari, and a cup of the tomato basil soup for appetizers (all were excellent). For main entree’s, we ordered the Fish Sandwich, upgraded to grouper, as well as the Chicken Brochette, lastly a slice of the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake to go! Added, there is a fun “guess the sunset time” to interact with your server about, while the sun is going down.

Well worth the wait. Lunch was awesome. We tried a few things from the menu and we're not disappointed. The chef has created a unique flair to the menu items.

We love this place. Tina was our waitress. She was delightful. We ordered the stuffed shrimp and cornbread for our appetizer, followed by fried shrimp and a grouper sandwich. Beach house is always a must when we visit Anna Maria. We love this place so much that we visit 2 days in a row for dinner. Valet is prompt in checking us in, hostess gets us seated quickly, waiters are very attentive. Food and drinks served within a reasonable time. Grouper sandwich is a must but you can’t go wrong with anything off the menu. The ambiance is perfect, sitting right on the beach with beach access. Getting that fresh gulf breeze while sipping on an ice cold beer. It’s always a pleasure to dine here and recommend to anyone. Great food and great service

I had delicious gumbo. Tacos, fried shrimp and fish of the day rounded out our meals. The restaurant was packed but the diners moved from waiting to satisfied. Our server, Dan, did a great job. No request went untended. The weather was gorgeous, the food delicious and service, from the whole team, was superb. I will go back and recommend that you do, also!

I recently had the chance to check out this beachfront restaurant on Anna Maria Island. The sunset alone was a reason to eat there. Stunning! We also got to watch a wedding. The calamari appetizer was tasty. For the main course we ordered the shrimp Scampi and a fried shrimp platter. Both were very good. For dessert we tried the carrot cake and that was the best dish of all. Definitely recommend!

Our waitress was great. Had a party of 9. Kept up pretty well with 4 adults drinking and the kids had waters.Low stars for the food though. I think the only thing that was really enjoyed was the appetizers and someone got the swordfish.You can pick where your oysters come from which is cool. And they had some non sea food opinions.The herb crusted chicken was okay, mashed potatoes were good but to be honestThe cheesecake factory taste better.The steaks were okay but again had better for a lot less.Nothing makes me want to go back and spend another 800 bucks(after tip)They do take out 20% for large party so make sure you look. Enjoyed a lunch and dinner at Beach House Waterfront Restaurant on two separate days while we stayed at Bradenton Beach.The location is perfect if you want to enjoy a beachfront vibe with gulf views. We went during off season so it was fairly easy to get a table right away. We sat outside and the view was perfect. The service was excellent and the food was good. The lunch tacos definitely didn’t have as much as the dinner tacos- I have them labeled in the photos as lunch tacos and dinner tacos and the fish and chips were much tastier with better breading at lunch than at dinner. The oysters were great and tasted very fresh. I also loved the drizzle of sweet chili sauce on the fried calamari. The lobster ravioli was surprisingly quite filling and the chocolate cake was delicious and big enough to share.This place is great for sunset views and beach vibes. With great service and good food it’s a must for any visit to Bradenton beach.

We had a great experience at the Beach House restaurant and will definitely be returning! I ordered the chicken sandwich but after seeing the lunch menu I wanted to change my order to the reuben. The waiter said she already placed the order but would double check for me, and I said no big deal if not. When the food came out I got what I wanted, not that I would have been upset if I didn't - but that is the kind of customer service I'm looking for at a restaurant! The customer service wasn't limited to the wait staff either. The host finding out it was our first time there gave us a little tour before we decided where to sit, and the gift shop was also very friendly. Restaurants in the area need to take note, great experiences trump even mediocre food most times. On that topic, we both enjoyed what we ate and the tables in the sand came with a beautiful view of the beach which I'm sure at sunset is truly a sight! If I had one recommendation, it would be to add more non-seafood options to the menu. My wife has a shellfish allergy and it is difficult to find a place near the beach that isn't 90% seafood. Stopped by to try this place out for dinner. Great atmosphere and service. Also a great selection of menu. I had swordfish and it was perfectly cooked. My friend had Mahi and it was delicious as well. We also tried oysters and smoked fish pasta. It was fresh and very good. We got table right on the beach with spectacular sunset. Great location, atmosphere inside has a cool little art deco vibe going on. The main attraction was the outside dining providing views for days. Menu had a little bit of everything, maybe a little too much to choose from. The food was solid, not spectacular but definitely enjoyed it. I’ll be honest, we were not planning on coming here during our weekend visit to AMI, but I’m really glad we did.We were a little overwhelmed by the traffic and the crowding since it’s spring break so we went ahead and chose to do the free valet parking. Of course it’s not really free because they do work based off tips, but we decided to do it for the convenience.If you wanna skip the valet, there are actually a few lots just down the road. If you’re lucky there’s lots that have spots that don’t require any payment, you just have to be patient and take the risk of driving around.We were seated pretty quickly outside. We were able to sit outside under a table with an umbrella and put our feet in the sand.Our server (I believe her name was Shawn) was very pleasant!! We really liked her!We ordered some drinks and some food. The taste was decent. Of course it’s beach food so the pricing can seem a little expensive. My sister ordered the fish tacos and the only complaint was that it only came with two tacos, but luckily they did load it with a good amount of fish.Overall, it was a good time and It’s in the perfect spot to catch the sunset!

We celebrated our 7 year anniversary here. Excellent food, incredible service ( Meli 😍) and absolutely delicious food. Try the chocolate cake. We ate it before I could capture the picture. Took a walk on the beach and sat in these lovely teal chairs to watch the sun setting. The Valets were sweethearts and very well mannered. Thank you for a making our celebration so memorable.

The Beach House is a great, family-friendly option on Anna Maria Island. Valet parking was an excellent option for my elderly parents. The restaurant is set up so people with disabilities can still see and experience the ocean.The price point was a bit high, but the location/ views made it worthwhile. The food was fresh and delicious. I recommend the fish dip and grilled Mahi-Mahi sandwich. The drinks were strong but refreshing.After your meal, lounge in the Adirondack chairs, put your feet in the sand, and enjoy the gulf.

We went here and got a table for 2 and got in much quicker than we thought we would. Our table wasn’t amazing as it was on the beach after sunset so it was a bit cold. I will acknowledge it was our choice to show up late so we were fine with this, but keep that in mind when you time your visit here and dress accordingly. I got the swordfish and my girlfriend got the yellowtail snapper and they were both amazing. The portions of my vegetables were a little weird, but the size of my swordfish cut made up for it. The mashed style potatoes that came with both dishes were amazing. We also got some bread which I would highly recommend, the spreads that came with it were super good. We ended with Key Lime Pie that we thought was the best of our trip, they put a little something extra in the crust that makes it amazing! The Long Island and the Mojito was also really good! All the staff were super friendly except for our waiter who kind of seemed like a frat bro that didn’t want to be there and was super short with us, it was a little weird. Overall though it was still a great dining experience for us.

One of the best restaurantes in the area. The only negative I have is the weather, which they can't control. I highly recommend going here for a business-casual night out. It was a bit of a wait, almost 2 hours, but we went in the middle of dinnertime rush during spring break. The waiters are considerate and quick. The atmosphere is phenomenal; on the beach, seating straight in the sand, as well as options inside or on a patio. Overall, I would definitely recommend of you need somewhere to eat on Anna Marie Island.

We had a wonderful meal at a table in the sand right next to the beach including drinks and dessert at sunset. Our two children, ages, three and six, played in the sand on the beach within our full view from the table. The ribeye steak was fantastic, and I’m generally pretty critical of restaurant steaks. My wife had fish dip and beet salad and said it was absolutely delicious. The children’s menu had appetizing and properly portioned staples that the kids enjoyed. They even made virgin tropical drinks for the kids that they loved. The adult drink menu has all the standard tropical drinks, as well as a solid list of beer and wine. The staff was 100% on it and attentive to detail, and there was a manager on the floor, doing spot checks and assisting as needed. Dessert was triple chocolate cake, which did not disappoint in the least. I expected it to be more expensive than it was, and though not inexpensive, I felt that there was good value for the quality of food and service. To top it all off, they provide valet parking, which takes the hassle out of parking in an already overcrowded town. This was one of the best meals that we’ve had on Anna Maria Island and we’ve been to most of the good restaurants here.

I love this place. My whole family comes here OFTEN. The food here is phenomenal, I always go for a BLT. Their bacon is made in house and is a must try. Definitely a great place to stop for lunch or dinner!I had a small problem with my ToGo order and Dave, the manager, and Christine went above and beyond to help me out. I've been wining and dining at the Clam Factory for six years! Not only do they have a wide selection of amazing co*cktails and beer, the food IS AMAZING!!! I have eaten almost everything, more than once, and NEVER had a bad experience. Think you need a fancy, expensive steak, at some ritzy dining restaurant? Think again! Clam has steak night, EVERY Saturday night! SO damn good! Doubting yourself because it's coming from a bar? Think again! I'd much rather sit in the company of amazing staff and friends for way less than half the cost. More importantly, the bar staff have all been there for years+. Not only are you getting amazing food and drinks, but you're being greeted with amazing, familiar, and known faces and smiles, each, and every time you come in. I almost forgot-they also entertain you with live entertainment/musicians as well!

5 star bar food at its finest!!! This hidden gem is nestled in a small, unassuming strip mall. It was obvious this was a favorite of the locals when we walked in. The atmosphere is low-key and everyone is very friendly. We started with homemade potato chips with clam dip and crab balls. The service was great, and the appetizers were delicious. The ribs and bacon cheese burger were amazing!!! The burger was the best I ever had. The meat is custom ground with smoked bacon added for flavor. We will be coming back every time we are in the area for sure!

I had a great time there, especially listening to Koko Ray. His song choices were perfect, and his volume was great. It was so nice to be able to eat and have a conversation, while listening to a great performer. Hopefully, one day they will allow me to perform there.

This place is about ambiance. All outside seating with lots of fans. We went for an early lunch, but have heard they have a great happy hour. There was a stage so I assume they have live music. They have some bar games for entertainment such as corn hole and a row a ring toss games.As for the food, their most popular dish are their tacos which are actually cheese shells in place of corn or flour tortillas. My husband and sister both ordered them and thought they should have shared it. They both took a taco each home for later. I was excited about ordering the grouper Ruben, but they brought me sourdough instead of rye bread, which is unfortunate, because it didn’t taste like a Ruben. But the grouper in it was well made and the French fries were good. My mom had the flounder with holla Daisy which she liked. Prices were decent.Also a great family place, they bring kids crayons as well as creative sticky wicks to build different things.

This place is great for having a happy hour drink or catching some live entertainment, however, I wouldn’t recommend eating here. The mussels didn’t taste fresh and were over cooked, not to mention cold when they came out. The best thing about this place was the drinks and liveliness of the venue. For food it’s overpriced and underwhelming. My daughters cheeseburger was the best thing I tasted from this place and it was very plain.

The service was wonderful, our waiter and all of the staff that we interacted with were wonderful. The food was quick and it was delicious! The outdoor seating and the live music really topped off the evening.

Cold beer, amazing co*cktails had one served out of a coconut. Nachos were awesome with pulled chicken. Fried chicken sandwich has pineapple on it and was fantastic. Perfectly cooked grouper as well. Service is awesome here! Live music is fun but is loud to talk over. Fun atmosphere!

Been here before but this time the quality wasn’t the same. Prices were high, expected because of the tourism but the quality should reflect the price.Some of the items were very good. Others mediocre. The atmosphere is fun. The music was a bit loud to be able to carry a conversation. The larger tables were really close together so the waitress had us pass food to the people at our table. A little odd but couldn’t be helped. The tables should have been spread further apart to make it comfortable for her to walk through.The food took a very long time to come. It was busy so we expect that to a degree but not as long.

For such a busy time of year to park two cars, get seated in a reasonable time, that was a great start. The food was exceptional (blackened grouper, coconut shrimp). Service was a cut-above even as one was in training. Great outdoor experience, entertainment included. It was a wonderful time with family we had not seen in a long time.

Stopped in for dinner and had a great time. We tried the Cheese Logs (mozzarella sticks), the Coconut Shrimp, and the Polynesian Boat (blackened grouper and mixed veggies inside a grilled pineapple). Our whole group loved our food and definitely plan to go back again because some other items looked delicious and it was so hard to choose.They featured a live musician and had spacious outdoor seating. The atmosphere was overall very lively and pleasant. Our server, Maddie, was also very kind, attentive, and happy to offer us suggestions as the menu has a big range of things to choose from.The Ugly Grouper gets 2 thumbs up from my family and we’d recommend it to anyone stopping in to the island!

This place has a great outdoor setting. The band was very good and the food was excellent!! I was a little disappointed in the portion of my grouper as I thought it was small for the price. But, it was delicious and the rice was very good as well. Service was good. The Grouper Reubens are fantastic! I regretted not getting the tacos as they looked amazing going by. Over all we enjoyed our time and meal here but it doesn't make my must stop/go out of your way to eat here list. I would eat here again for sure, but would like to try other local venues first. The place is fun and vibrant, and your kids will be entertained as you eat here with ring toss games, the giant steel grouper, and wax string to play with.

The place only has outdoor seats, there are many covered spaces and enough fans for all diners, the atmosphere is informal, relaxed and fun.Cole was a great server always with a very good attitude, he even did what a good server should do when a costumer didn’t like something, just remove it from the table and take it off the account.The food was good, nothing spectacular but it had an acceptable flavor, the best dish was a appetizer the “Crab stuffed shrimp”The drinks were not to our liking, they all seemed to lack flavor, quality and liquor, they tasted like lemonade from fountain.I find the place very expensive for what they offer, but it is a very touristy place, I guess that’s why the prices.

Our family stopped by while on Spring Break, and we enjoyed the experience. I ordered the grouper tacos, which were large and tasty. Kids generally enjoyed their food. The ambiance was pleasant and fun. The bathrooms were gross and should have included a complimentary tetanus shot.

Service was fantastic. Food was amazing. We had the Grouper Sandwich & Grouper Tacos. Thick piece of blackened grouper on the Sammy and plenty of filling on the HUGE cheese lined tacos. The fries were some of the best and their Dyno sauce can be poured on everything including the fries. Would definitely come here again...or tomorrow. Bloody Mary had great toppings!

Our server, Kimberly, was fantastic. Excellent personality and helped us decide on the Grouper sandwich, one fried and one blackened. The Cole slaw was sweet and delicious. The fries were done just right. Frankly, the best fish sandwich in memory. At the bar, we met people we know from 1,100 miles away. A lovely meal with happy people.

Very busy and plan on a wait. Our server was friendly and attentive. Food quality was good and everyone enjoyed their orders. The grouper tacos had a good amount of fish in them and the melted cheese shells were great. Outdoor seating has a good vibe. Would definitely recommend.

So this place is a total sightseers, paradise and vacationers restaurant. It will be packed from open to close and evenings that gets even busier. They have live music every day, which is very nice.The drinks are very good and have no problem. enjoying the drinks.We had come here at two years ago and we’re so blown away how good the grouper tacos were that we came back specifically and got those again. However, it could’ve been the cooks or the quality or maybe just the wrong time of day, but we did not enjoy the food nearly as much as last time. Overall, we were not that impressed and it makes us both very sad. We had been dreaming about coming back.The appetizers were great and that’s what gives it Four stars instead of three. Also, all of the entrées are $30. Be prepared for a larger than expected bill. Service was excellent.

Nice vibe here. Super friendly waiter. Without a reservation on a Saturday evening we were seated quickly, after grabbing a co*cktail at the bar while we waited, and bonus= live music. They have kid/adult friendly activities including ring toss and cornhole. Food was delicious. My suggestion is if you like a burst of flavor, skip the crab stuffed shrimp and go straight to the shrimp and grits! Also, we found the special co*cktails to be overpriced for what they are. Plenty of other options! Enjoyed our time here:)

Visited the Ugly Grouper and it was a pleasantly delightful moment. Order the Cheese Logs delicious also had the Grouper Tacos made of cheese shell absolutely delicious I really enjoyed them . But above all the service that was provided by LUCAS my Server was Amazing, Attentive, Great with Suggestions and being available for requests. I Gotta say he made the visit pleasant and an overall 10! Also Ryan the bartender awesome service. I Absolutely recommend it if you are in the Anna Maria Island Area give the Ugly Grouper a visit u won't regret it.

Loved this restaurant! I came here after a long day at the beach for a bite to eat and a drink! The grouper tacos were to die for! So good!! And the pesto pasta was also awesome! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here! Plus, the atmosphere is great. Love the live music and the little ring toss game they have!

Our food and drinks were great. They came out on a timely fashion and the service was even more fantastic! We had Jacki as our server and she was amazing ! So kind to our little one, even gave her a squishy toy which she loved dearly ! Went with my husband and son on vacay. I had to try the famous “grouper tacos” and so glad that I did! They were sumptuous to say the least. My husband had the burger and my son had the adult portion of grouper bites. We were all very full and loved our server. Atmosphere was fun. I played the ring toss game and had to get a picture next to the ugly grouper. I highly recommend this spot. Great value and price, well worth it. Outdoor seating was pleasant as the oversized fans placed in all directions, kept us cool.

Ok we have been told about this restaurant so made the special trip up to go to it and are we over glad we did. We stopped by for lunch and were lucky enough to find it not too busy when we arrived. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the shrimp appetizer to start and ended up sharing it, and it was incredibly tasty. We would both go back and order it again. We decided to split an entrée and ordered the grouper tacos. They are definitely large enough to share, even with a hardy appetite unless you have nothing else to eat it will be a very filling meal. We both agreed it was one of the best lunches we’ve ever had. From what we found out and gets very busy in the evening and I can certainly tell why. it’s a fun spot with fantastically delicious food, make the trip you won’t be disappointed

Ate at UG for the first time today and Taylor, our server was amazing! The food and drinks were excellent. Def get the Ugly Cheese Logs and the Grouper Tacos! Will be back to check out the live music one evening soon!

Super fun, the layout of the place is perfect for families and groups travelling with small kids, lots of games to keep them entertained. Our waitress Smilie was so much fun. Menu provides a lot of great options and the environment is ways lively. 10/10 worth the trip.

Really good! For a beachy casual place, I was pleasantly surprised with the food. The scallops-with-risotto special, in particular, was quite good.Easy enough to get to, and there's both indoor and outdoor seating.A little expensive, but so be it. Great service from Shelby. I'd go back for sure.

Actually the food and service are 10 stars. From the attentive valet to our server, each "ACT" presenter was superb. Chef is to be complimented for the just perfect taste experience. Sunset was not added to bill. Not much when we drove up. A tad concerned. Quickly found out this is a wonderful place to dine and be treated like special guests. Expensive but well worth it.

You seriously can't top dining on the beach! You get a five course meal, outstanding service, can watch the sunset and really eat on the beach with your toes in the sand! It is a very fancy dining experience. They were accommodating with my food allergies (tree nuts and gluten) and made specific changes to the 5 course meal for me. A date night stop you will never forget!

Amazing dinner experience right at the beach. The dining room has huge windows facing the beach. We sat at the bar area and it was a steakhouse feel...dark wood, cozy atmosphere.The staff were so professional and took great care of us. They really make the meal an experience. Everything was perfect.We started with a little welcome drink...house blueberry vodka. Then a welcome little palette cleanser with pecan ice cream and tomato with tapenade toast. All were a delicious start!My choices for each course were: shrimp and lobster co*cktail, lobstercargot, and grouper...but I also tried bites of the Caesars salad, shrimp with bourbon glaze and duck. All the food was perfectly prepared and delicious. It was so tasty!!We finished with the chocolate torte and pecan ice cream...both were fabulous!They also gave us a rose, a orange truffle chocolate, and caramel popcorn as we left. All contributed to an amazing experience that was perfect!! Highly recommend for a special night out!

I don’t get a chance very often to dine in such an opulent restaurant but I’m fortunate enough tonight to have enjoyed an amazing experience. The location on the beach is perfect. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The Acts are courses in the meal. Carefully planned and well thought out. The 1st act was a plate of salmon. Act 2 was spiny lobster bites. Act 3 was the main course of grouper and potatoes. Beets and squash for vegetables. Steamed perfectly. The Spanish red wine was a 2015 and very smooth. The 4th act was key lime desert. I wish I could do a better job of explaining how wonderful the evening was. The food the staff the scenery. All was amazing 🤩

This restaurant is tucked away at the end of a short street right on the beach. You must make reservations or be very lucky. It almost seems like it's an old house that has been converted into a restaurant. Loads of charm, quirky little corners and dark paneling. The front huge window is everything as you're looking directly onto the sand in the gulf. If you are adventuresome, they have tables right on the sand for dinner. We went for an anniversary and they gave us the prime spot in the corner in front of the window. Staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. They serve only three course dinners with some options. Everything we had that night was absolutely delicious and worth the price. We will definitely be going back again next year for anniversary again.

We had the chefs tasting menu for our party of 5. Unanimously voted as one of the top 5 dinners we have all had in our lives. Joe was a fabulous server and made great menu suggestions and his descriptions were spot on. We are here for 2 months and will plan another evening here before we leave.

Fine dining on the waters edge looking west at the setting sun over the Gulf of Mexico. This is an exceptional restaurant and highly rated by numerous major sources. This is not a place you go to eat. It is a place you go to dine in style. It is fabulous.

I had a fantastic experience at the Beach Bistro! The entire pre-fox menu was full of flavor, and our waiter was also accommodating with food selections.The atmosphere: inside is very nice and classic. We sat outside, and it was perfect. It’s hard to beat sitting on the soft sand and having a fabulous fine dining experience. Even when the wind picks up, the staff has blankets for your comfort. That is a lovely touch.The staff: were terrific! They were around to make sure our experience was the best it could be. Our waiter could answer any questions on the menu and recommend a good wine.The food: is the main event of the Beach Bistro, and it was phenomenal! Every course, from the starters of ice cream and soup to the BBQ shrimp and lamb, was all top tier. Everything was cooked perfectly!Cleanliness: The staff comes around and does a beautiful job of ensuring everything is in order and clean for you.

This was our first time dining at Beach Bistro. We live in Siesta Key so it was a drive to get there but well worth it. Restaurant is a little dated and a little cramped but the food and service made up for it. I have to admit this is the best food I have ever tasted. The presentation was wonderful.The timing in between courses was perfect. I had the Grouper. It was delicious. It was expensive but I recommend a visit.

We had the most amazing experience, and it was just that, an amazing experience from the time we walked in! James, the GM, was so friendly and seated us on the beach with a glass of champagne. Our waiter, Matt, was very friendly, informative, and attentive. Oscar made the most delicious smoked old fashion and even did a tasting of cognac for me. And the food, what can we say, EVERYTHING was divine, prepared to precision, and perfect from prelude to the end. We loved our experience so much that we made reservations for the rest of the week. Staff was friendly, but personally I felt like everything was a bit over explained. In addition to that, we got stuck in a booth which took away from the experience as every course we had to gather our own plates and pass them to the server. While normally I have no issue with this whatsoever, in a fine dining environment it’s awkward. For a 40 year old restaurant, this shouldn’t be anything surprising.In order to really delight your customers over a tasting menu, you have to maintain a level of surprise and consistency throughout the entire experience. While the starting courses were very strong - I felt very let down by course 4. Just a protein with a sauce, cabbage salad, and a strange stacked cheesy sweet potato. Maybe just not for me. The strawberries and biscuits for dessert also didn’t deliver for me as the warm and flaky biscuit was soggy by the cream on the plate.

We had the pleasure of dining at Beach Bistro on our honeymoon on Anna Maria Island. We absolutely loved Beach Bistro and easy was our favorite dinner of the whole trip. The selection at each course had options to fit every taste bud. The portions were larger than expected leaving us very full after our dinner. The service and atmosphere were far beyond expectations, leaving us with an amazing memory we will cherish forever. We were sat on a table outside on the beach which was beautiful for the evening sunset! We will definitely be back soon! Thank you to the staff for celebrating with us!!

We enjoyed every bite of food. Drinks were great. I enjoyed the "new fashioned " smoked. My husband tried the Pirate Punch.This was worth the price. Sat on the beach. We had a beautiful view of the sunset. It was chilly out, and the restaurant provided all of us with throw blankets, a very nice touch, and attention to detail.Service was a little chopped up, and it seemed like they should have had more than one person handling the number of tables they had on the beach. That said, Matt was lovely and was hustling to do his best to keep everyone attended to.

If you’re going to want to spend money on the quality of your food on AMI, the Feast is your place. My family has been coming here for years for the pep pizza and grouper bites. Tonight I had the Wagyu Beef Lasagna, and my fam had the fabulous crab legs (those mashed potatoes!) which were a plenty and we also had the ribeye marsala risotto. For my birthday dessert, key lime pie!!! Allthe food was amazing. Lily, our server was so sweet. Love this place!

We've been in the area for a week and this is by far the BEST meal we've had!We stopped in for a late lunch on a Tuesday. We ended up being the only sit down customers at that time (although before leaving more people had wandered in). Very casual dining, yet high end taste. Between the 3 of us, we had a spring roll, a Vermont salad(added chicken), pizza, fries, and we washed it all down with a peanut butter pie(sorry, it went so fast that I didn't get the before picture :) It was so tasty and the presentation beautiful. Don't judge, we love trying new restaurants when we vacation!)Every single thing we ordered was fantastic. Highly recommend this place. 5 starts! We hate that we are leaving today to head back to Ohio...or we would've came back here for dinner!

AMAZING pizza. We got it one night to try some new pizza on the island and OH MY GOSH - best pizza I’ve had on AMI. Brought it home and it was gone - everyone in the family said it was the best. It was so good we went back 2 nights later for dinner again and I got another pizza.

Trey did an outstanding job taking care of us. He made the kids feel special. We had the crab and artichoke dip, the lobster and shrimp risotto, a cheese pizza, broccoli cheddar soup and the T bone steak special. Everything was excellent. We will definitely be back to this treasure.

Place was crowded, but they got us in anyway! Food was fantastic. We both had a special of the day, grouper and scallops! The firecracker shrimp was a huge portion for an appetizer... Done to perfection. Thanks guys, see ya next trip... later in the summer 😄👍

We ate at The Feast last night. To say the meal was excellent is an understatement. We had Firecracker Shrimp as an appetizer which was delicious. I had the 2lb. Crab leg special and my husband had Grouper New Orleans. Both were awesome. Our server Adria was amazing. We will definitely be going back.

Food was good. Coconut shrimp dinner was good, got 9 shrimps and two sides. Sides were a bit small, and could of had more of selections on sides available. Pricy for what u get, but what u would expect since it’s on Anna Maria island. Biggest convenience was take out was available, definitely was busy to eat in at the time. The fried shrimp was not that great, not much flavor and not crispy enough.

I had the Tropicana Salad with Salmon cooked just right. Husband had all you can eat crab. All dishes observed to other tables looked just as appealing as ours did. Our server, Trey, was on point….professional, courteous and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. Nothing disappointing here. The Feast is well staffed and clean. Gordon Ramsey would be pleased!

Ricardo, our waiter suggested the La Fayette linguini with seafood as the most flavourful dish. It is an off the menu item that turned out to be delicious- a great balanced flavor resembling carbonara with a definite seafood slant.We also tried the coconut shrimp which if memory serves me well, the best to date. The shrimp were plump and super tender. The batter tasty and nothing greasy.The fish and chips had a Cajun style batter that was thin and grease free. All you could taste was the loads of meaty Alaskan Pollock. The fish and chips came accompanied by a lean, fresh, and elegant coleslaw made of cucumber and red cabbage and lightly sweetened with no apparent mayonnaise. The fries were even good, nice and salty.Ohh, and they also serve a key lime, coconut cake that is to die for, super unique and delicious. My wife and I were super full but we finished every last bite of our cake.Our server Ricardo was also always courteous and helpful. He answered every one of our questions about the menu and recommended items well. We will definitely return whenever we are in Florida.

We at here with a party of 11. We made reservations a few days prior so we didn't wait long once we got to the restaurant. They had to seat us outside on two picnic tables. Don't expect too much from their fans if it's a hot day or evening. We got the Caprese and Spring rolls as an app and they were very good. We ordered a cheese pizza and peperoni pizza for the kids. Was very good. Nice crust. I got the land and sea with the Filet and Diver Scallops. The scallops were great. Nice flavor and big. The filet was not a good filet. More like a Manhattan thick cut sirloin filet. Don't get it. Wife had the fresh fish with lump crab over it. She loved it. Mom got a slice of key lime pie that I had to finish off. She was not a fan. All and all they have some good things here but the pizza is prob the best thing they have. Was tempted to get the all you can eat crab legs but at $60 seemed a little steep to me. I recently moved to the area and saw an advertisem*nt for this place on the Island. It's located on a strip mall and parking is not a problem so that's a plus. The decor is dated but the service was exceptional. Our server Lilly was friendly and attentive. Our appetizer, the fire cracker shrimp, was delicious. My partner ordered the salmon gnocchi and said it was outstanding. My filet Mignon was good, although it would be nice if a sauce was offered (bernais?). I wish them luck.

I have been vacationing in Anna Maria with my family for 18 years, it is our home away from home! So when I was planning my October '22 wedding, I knew the destination had to be AMI. We were so excited to share this corner of the earth with our friends and family. We had a bit of trouble finding a spot for our rehearsal dinner until we contacted Bridge Street Bistro.Jennifer was amazing from start to finish. She laid out all of the options and answered any and all questions promptly. She even took care of decorating the space herself and when the wrong napkins came in, she promptly took care of the issue and the whole space was gorgeous.The night of the event, the atmosphere and service were phenomenal. We hosted 36 guests and it was the perfect amount of space. Our bartenders/servers, Michael and Brittany, were extremely friendly and accommodating. They brought our first course out right on time and worked around a couple of speeches to serve our dinner. The food was amazing! The space looks over the ocean and we had the most incredible sunset to view while we ate.Thanks to Jennifer and her team for not only making us feel special and cared for but also for helping us treat our guests to a phenomenal wedding-eve dinner.

Frequently vacation to Florida 3 years ago found this gem recently came back for a visit and had to stop here for food. And it did not disappoint me at all. Met a nice server named Jordan who was so friendly and did an amazing job at making sure the service and the food was exceptional. I tried the bang bang cauliflower which was so delicious. Parking was so easy thanks to mayor for parking David. The view is breath taking I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and I can’t wait to come back for another visit and enjoy the food again.

Such an amazing little restaurant. The food I can say is probably the best. Visiting here from out of state and travel a lot and I would be back to this place. Fish and Chips was the best. The sunset view was amazing. Out door seating and upper seating for the best views. Give this place a try, won’t be disappointed.

We’ve been coming to the Beach Street Bistro for many years and it’s really only one of two restaurants that we visit for an upscale, seafood-centric meal with a stunning view of the sunset. I’ve never had a bad meal and I tend to stick with a selection from the “Just Caught” section of the menu. I’ve had grouper, mahi-mahi, salmon and other types of fish, with all of the various preparations offered on the menu. My favorite is the pecan crusted preparation, but it really depends on the fish. My sister raved about the “grassy key” style preparation during our last visit. We’ve also had the cranberry pecan salad, clam chowder soup, scallop entree, the pork chop, and surf & turf. All were delicious. And, of course, the coconut shrimp is a must if you’re visiting Anna Maria Island! You’ll also get fresh bread and butter before the meal, and the entree portions are generous, so no one is going hungry.Finally, the sunset view. We typically call a week in advance to make a reservation for the outside deck. You can’t reserve a table on the deck specifically, but if you get an earlier reservation you’ll be able to request a table outside when you check-in with the host/hostess. We’ve always been able to get a table outside, but it is a small deck (4-5 tables, I believe), so be sure to plan ahead. As you can see from the photos, the view is unbeatable. We’ll be back, every year, during our future vacations!

Our group went for Happy hour and was very pleased with our food and drinks.Large portions and a decent selection for happy hour.Tacos were delicious as were the fish and chips and bang bang cauliflower.Our waitress was wonderful with a great personality.

Food is absolute trash!!! Staff was nice and all but I just couldn’t get over the food here. Started with shrimp co*cktail and one of the shrimps were black! Lobster bisque tasted like straight cheese soup with a slight lobster taste at the end. No lobster in it. Got grouper (market price) Oscar style (market price). Thought this has to be good with the price tag on it. Absolutely not!!! Soooooo salty and fish is 100% frozen. Herb risotto had no herbs….. it was like cheesy rice….They provide bread and butter while you wait. Bread was warm and soft so I thought it might be fresh. When I asked. The waitress said “fresh out of the box”.Will not be back. For the price take this review into consideration before going. The whole place was empty in a Saturday night…..

Best truffle fries I have ever had. We literally could have eaten these and left. Amazing. Had the fresh black grouper, was so fresh and tasty. My friend had the seafood Mac and cheese, absolutely delicious. Waitress was amazing even while taking rudeness from the table next to us. Cute and quaint. Windows all around. Food was extremely tasty, presented well.

So I'm all about flavors and unfortunately the salt shaker didn't help. However, presentation and service is 💯. The drinks were also very tasty and well presented. The inside is all very well decorated with the rat pack theme and all very clean. The sunset view is incredible, just make sure to get your reservation in line with that as they have limited servers and seating availability. We sat at the bar while our table was ready and had to sneak out there in between a table to snap a pic. Luckily that sunset is really viewable at any spot on that street- something about it going down and setting with a drink in your hand at the table is better than standing out there and running back into bar though. Wish we had a table. Inside is very intimate though. Service is amazing, everyone is super nice. Food is just bland and I am used to more flavors in every bite. I would visit again and ask for maybe that mustard pretzel set up for the sea bass instead of Oscar style.

We had our destination wedding reception here recently. Jennifer was great at communicating and answered all of our questions promptly. She was wonderful to work with, she was helpful getting everything set up and ready for our event. The food at our reception was absolutely amazing. From the salads to the entrees! Everyone loved their meals! The bartender and other staff were so attentive and friendly. We can’t sing their praises enough. If you are thinking about hosting a wedding reception here at Bridge Street Bistro definitely do it! We Highly recommend them.

Jennifer went above and beyond to help us every step of the way to plan the perfect reception. The room on the second floor was suitable for our guests that attended the event and the set up was absolutely beautiful. She even assisted with setting up our alternative guest book, card box and favors. The food was absolutely amazing along with the different drink options available. They were very accommodating with working around our plans of having speeches, first dance, and cake cutting. The venue was absolutely perfect for us and I’m so pleased with the service we received.

Food was OK. Its been better. My sides came cool. The fish was very good. The waitress was very good. Also we went to the bar first and the bar and staff was very welcoming.

I’ve tried coconut shrimp a lot of places but this by far was my favorite!! Also a wonderful place for a romantic dinner & to catch the sunset!

Went 2x in one day. Same bartender. Can't remember his name, but good service and drinks. Very nice and attentive. Each time we went that day, it was pretty dead, but it was still a great place to sit at the bar and people watch as they walked by on the street.Shared a dozen of oysters and asked for extra horse radish of which it was provided. Loved not having to remind them. These oysters were perfectly chilled and huge! YUMMYWill DEFINITELY return.

Got sat right away on a Friday around 430-5. It was happy hour so decided to get some drinks. We got the steak & surf n turf. My only complaint was the steak was a little overcooked but oh well. I do recommend this place tho as it’s right near the beach and the vibe is cool!

Great open air sports bar setting in Holmes Beach area. It was quite busy, we were there to watch my beloved buckeyes once again take a loss to TTUN, despite that we had a blast. Sports bar styled menu and drinks. The food was several notches above typical bar grub. I had a grouper sandwich and fried pickles. Both were better than I expected.

Indoor and outdoor seating. Sits right along the main road, so it's a bit noisy if you're sitting outside. Close to Bradenton Beach pier. Service and food were great. Bathrooms are located on the second floor of the building, there are stairs and an elevator for access.

If you want a bar to scream away in this is it. If you want to have food with a view it's very deceiving. The music (both band and restaurant music) are so loud you cant hear the person next to you, everyone was screaming. People are smoking everything and anything right next to you so it's difficult to enjoy sitting at your table. The food was very decent. There was one option for vegans. Not very inclusive. The pasta tasted like cheap noodles with tomato paste, water, and some seasoning. The burger tasted like fish.

The food here was GREAT!!!! I got a burger and fries the fries where seasoned with something red and they was great!!! My burger was perfect too and my brother in law got the surf n turf and he loved it the price varies with the market but it was $47 but that's the most expensive thing they have I believe I ate a burger and my nephew got hot wings and egg rolls and it only cost me $36 for our drinks also. The server lady was great see was on top of getting us refills and checking on us constantly. This is a definite place if your here to check out.and eat at. 5 stars I also forgot at 7pm to 10 pm they have live.music and it was great also. They serve alcohol and have a full bar and restrooms so you have everything you need!!

We usually have a really great time here but this time was terrible. Our server (I think her name was Callie R.) was super sweet at first and really quick with our drinks, however after after at least an hour and a half of waiting for our food, she started to get defensive, unapologetic, and snappy. When the food finally came out we were missing a ton of food and some of it came out wrong. We were trying to figure out what the food looked like in order to help her, but she got cold and ignored us trying to help. She said “Well that’s how it was rung in” as if she wasn’t the one who had to ring it in. We are always super patient people especially since most of us do or have worked in the restaurant industry, but once we get attitude and get treated like we are the problem, it becomes a problem. After asking for our checks she said “Well you guys are welcome to leave now” before we even paid. We asked for the manager and he was super friendly and apologetic which made up for the lack of competence from our server. The funnies part was the one item we were waiting on was a salad. Lettuce on a plate. Absurd. We would love to come back but that server has ruined it for us. 🤷‍♀️

Ordered the combo with fried pickles, egg roll and poppers. We ate 1 of 2 egg rolls and the four poppers which were ALL just okay but fried pickles had fishy taste so we returned the whole thing but they refused to give us any credit for these appetizers even tho we ate half before losing our appetite. About 1-2 hours later we ordered the fried shrimp/fried fish platter. Shrimp were good but 1 of 2 fried fish filets were raw inside. Will never eat there again and we are locals who live 6 blocks away.

Ordered the calamari. It was overcooked, rubbery and flavorless. It did come with a redeeming dipping sauce however. The Cuban sandwich was super soggy and when I opened the bread, the meat appeared to be GREEN. The Miami Vice looked and tasted like a piña colada with strawberry syrup squeezed inside. Horrible. The service was good but not enough to get us to go back ever again. There are plenty of other places to eat. Going forward, I’ll go elsewhere.

Island Time is one of our traditional stops on the Island and has never let us down. The grouper and other sandwiches are always on point and their fries are great! The pork nachos are a must. They usually have live entertainment nightly and are busy for football games on Sundays.

Got the pork Nachos and they were really good. Also got the pecan salad and I would recommend it as well. Great spot for sporting events and they had live music starting at 7. All in all great spot.

The hostess was a little nonchalant towards us but our waitress was very nice. I ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos and they were AMAZING. My niece ordered the bang bang shrimp basket and my son ordered the burger and both were delicious. We also got the chicken egg rolls as an appetizer and they were delicious. The food was fresh. The atmosphere was pleasant. The music was great. We will for sure be going back soon!

Went there with friends in a group of 11. Seated fairly quickly and ordered drinks. Drinks came out but they mixed up who got what drink badly. Ordered meals, after 30-40 minutes only half our order came out. Was told there was a mix up and the kitchen never got the other half of the order and they would rush the rest of the order. Had to wait another half hour for food that takes 10 minutes at most to make, so obviously not rush as they promised. They gave us a 25% discount but the whole meal out was ruined. Food was ok but not worth the price and definitely not worth the bad service.Do not order the lobster mac and cheese, total rip off, tiny portion with barely any lobster.

I came in on Christmas and had a great time!!! The band was great. I ordered the Boom Boom basket with shrimp and it came out crispy and hot, my husband loved his romaine wedge and our server Marissa was very attentive! Will come back soon.

First time here. Started with the Fish-spread, then the Poke bowl and Salmon tacos. It was all generous portions and the service was excellent. The server was attentive and the view cant be beat. Fair pricing, excellent food, service and ambiance.

Great outdoor seating and warmer and comfortable indoor seating. Place was busy so grabbed a seat at the indoor bar. Friendly staff and excellent food!

Had a wonderful dinner at Swordfish Grill. I had the Shrimp and Grits, and my wife had the crab cakes. Both were very good. We had a table where we were able to watch a fishing boat unload to the processing plant. Very cool!! I would highly recommend this restaurant for a casual night out!

Waitress was great. The hostess girls could use some help. But not a reason not to go back.The stir fry was so good and the firecracker shrimp tacos were delicious only complaint was we wished they had one more taco or offered fries with it.

We went here for some drinks and appetizers. Was a delicious and awesome experience!! Although we only got appetizers it was worth it! We will have to come back for a meal one day because it was so good. Overall, great experience for what we went for!

You can’t beat the waterside view. The service is really nice and friendly. Theres often live music. Can’t beat spending and warm afternoon here with a cold beer and coconut shrimp. The food is perfectly fine. But the real draw is the fantastic vibe.

Love the food, service and of course the views. They have fresh seafood from the fishing in the morning!We had conch fritters and Florida stone crab for the first time and it was delish.The only thing is the weather was kinda weird that day (New Years Eve) started with sunny and turned to foggy with misty and windy but that’s nothing the swordfish grill can do about it. Surely I would like to come back here again when we’re in the area hopefully the weather will be better.

Loved the location on the bay with great outdoor seating. We went for an early dinner. It would also be a great place to have dinner and watch the sunset. We enjoyed both of our meals. The Fisherman's Old Fashioned was really good as was my Fried Shrimp & Scallop dinner. The coleslaw had pineapple in it, which was different and over sweet for my tastes. Personally, to balance that sweet, it would be perfect with some fresh jalapeno added. My husband enjoyed his dinner as well. The service was friendly and timely.

If you are looking for the laid back old Florida feel, this is your place. Both inside and outside seating. You can take your boat over and bring your leashed doggies. They usually have live music outside. And the food is good and reasonable. Usually get the Lobster Mac n cheese, but tried the shrimp and grits and it was incredibly savory. And when the traffic on the island is crazy, this is a great getaway, with some awesome water views!

It was a popular time of year when we went here. Hooooboy it was crowded. (2hr plus wait) I highly recommend making a reservation if you go here when it is busy. If you do not have reservations, you can sit at the small bar or along the rails overlooking the water and order from the bar. We did that. Staff was nice, food was great. View was pretty darn nice.

First time visit and thoroughly enjoyable lunch at this waterfront gem in the historic fishing village of Cortez. We enjoyed the fried Oyster basket with delicious fresh cut fries and homemade tater’ salad, and the portion of fresh, fried oysters was ample. We also tried the blackened Mahi Tacos and s delicious local craft beer. The prices were fair on what we tried and they had a great menu of fresh grouper, stone crab, oysters and more. There is indoor/outdoor dining with a large, covered waterfront deck/bar. My only criticism would be the server assigned area’s, our server was NOT attentive, hurried and not naturally pleasant, because she was covering too many tables on different sides of a huge, busy deck. But we will be back, often:) and if your visiting the gulf coast, you should try it too!

Had dinner with great friends. Service was very good. Our waiter was Byron. I had the prime rib special and it was delish. The view on the Tiki Deck at sunset was spectacular!

We visited the Swordfish Grill after spending the week in the area. We wanted a sunset supper and boy that didn’t disappoint. Even though it was overcast and cool, the experience was managed to perfection by the waitstaff. Our table of 10 had 2 dedicated porch heaters and we were seated in a private area. The side deck allows access to the lower dock to view the sunset and enjoy some quiet time before the meal.And the food did not disappoint. We ordered apps, taps, specials, kid meals — everyone enjoyed their meals which is often hard to do with 10 of us! The waitress checked in on us often and anticipated our needs. She was engaged with everyone at the table and knew how to work the young and old alike.Truly a notable memory of our time on Christmas break from the upper Midwest. We would certainly return to this establishment next time we are in the area.

Very limited wait to sit on the side deck. I enjoyed the blackened seafood platter that included Mahi mahi, shrimp, scallops and crab cakes along with a very small side of pineapple coleslaw and potatoes. The entree was excellent. The Mai Tide and Mango delight were good and moderately priced for AMI. For dessert I had the best key lime pie during my vacation here. Not too tart or sweet.Hostess stand and service were just young kids. Polite but uninspired and unfocused. There is not a quiet place in the restaurant. We were seated by the fish factory that had a constant hum and the noise of dock workers. They also have an outside back deck with a tiki bar with live music.Large parking lot. Waterfront atmosphere. I will say that was the best seafood during my visit to AMI. I just would have liked more focused service and a quieter setting. I would still definitely still return for the food.

We had the best experience at Swordfish Grill last night. They have a beautiful and massive new outdoor Teiki Roof when you go to their back area over looking the water. Such a fun place to be now with all the music and shade from the hot sun. We ordered their Stone Crab dinner (it's the best in the area and great value compared to some places) it was as always delicious. We also had their Seafood Cobb Salad, not your normal Cobb Salad because there is so much seafood added to it, absolutely loved it. The beers were ice cold and the service was impeccable with plenty of smiles.

Nice location. Service was good. Food was ok, nothing special. We had the classic burger which was good but the fries were not. Heard the tacos were good but opted for something different since we had those the previous night at a different restaurant. We probably wouldn't return for food, but maybe to sit out at the tiki bar for drinks.

Awesome waterside atmosphere. Been here many times and love the vibe of the intercostal water views, boats passing by, dolphins and live music. Never tied the food. We're gluten sensitive and they don't seem to have options. Cold Corona and great co*cktails though!

This place has one of the best atmospheres on the island. Very casual and laid back. Live music is always good. Whatever side of the street you’re on it’s just a good time to be here. Food is average and service at a table can be a bit slow because of how busy it gets. However the bartenders when you’re sitting at the open bar are quick to get you your drink. Highly recommend for a good time.

What a great place to stop and grab a bite to eat right in the water... You can eat under the shaded trees, a patio, even in a old boat, at a outside bar, or indoor with live music, not one bad seat in the house..... Dog friendly, which is a PLUS 🐕 we also seen Dolphins swimming close to the boats, very cool....We ate the basa chips, black bean soup and the cheeseburger w/FF

I've recently moved to the area and often take my bike out on Anna Maria Island. I discovered I can stop at this beautiful waterside restaurant and have lunch, and I can sit my bike next to me. The location is amazing and the service has been polite and efficient. I had lunch twice this week. Once ordering the grouper sandwich and the second time a classic cheeseburger with fries. Delicious! If you are in the area you should definitely check it out.

We had chowder, grouper Ruben, grouper fingers, tuna, coconut shrimp, adult beverages, and grilled cheese for my little. Everyone enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. Great view as well, will be back when in neighborhood 🙌🏼✔️

Fun, beachfront restaurant and bar with a tiki bar and tables in the sand as well as an indoor eating area. I loved the fun drinks and their names - especially Becki's Bikini Babe with a floater. For my lunch, I had the coconut shrimp appetizer, which was pretty large, and the soft pretzels with cheese. My sister had a turkey sandwich, and my mom enjoyed the peel and eat shrimp. Our waitress was great, and the live music from the brick and mortar was the perfect edition!

Hands down best chicken liver I have had anywhere in USA.The tiki bar is right on the docks and I loved eating and drinking while enjoying a great view of the bay. Compared to the places on island this place is very pocket friendly.

Drinks & food came out in a timely manner & it was really yummy. Grouper Ruben 🤌🏽. The kids fried shrimp is actual gulf sized shrimp, not popcorn shrimp, they loved it. House margarita was also 🤌🏽. Sat a few hours over a "few" drinks. The best way to sum up this place is from my first interaction.I rode up on a bike. As a result, I asked one of the servers if they would mind if I sat at the bar a placed my bike somewhere near me. The answer made me feel welcomed and filled my soul with the type of joy you feel at a younger age... "you can do whatever you want, we have very little rules here". I knew then this was my kind of place.I didn't rate the food becouse I didn't have any. The service at the bar was great! Great old Florida, carefree, waterfront, boater life, and simple vibe. Live music, the breeze, little rule, and salty air.

The Bridge Tender is Not a Hotel…It is a Great Bayside Restaurant in Anna Maria Island in Florida. It is a Dockside Restaurant that serves Comfort Foods and Delicious co*cktail Beverages. I was there again tonight for an Awesome Halloween Theme Party. The Decorations were super nice. They really went all out. They had Fog filled Bubbles that released smoke when they popped. Spooky Fun Decorations. We had an Awesome Time Tonight. Since I live on AMI it is one of my Favorite places to relax and enjoy the Evening Entertainment and have a few co*cktails and a bite to eat. A must Go when your here on AMI.

Fun place to grab a drink or bite and listen to live music. Nice atmosphere. I've only been in the outdoor section. Nice view of the docks and water. The nachos had too much lettuce. The philly was good. Wish they had a better selection of beer but it was enough. I'd go back and I would recommend the place to friends and family even if they weren't Packers fans 🙂

Just my opinion but drinks seemed over priced and low on alcohol. The table we sat at was so dirty it actually had grim build up on it. We ended up not even ordering food. Finished out round of drinks and left.Packer flag hanging on the canopy was so ripped up and tattered someone had tied it up to keep it from falling apart.

This place is always booming with live entertainment. Stopped by today for the first time to get Thanksgiving dinner. Lady that took my order was friendly and helpful. I dont have any family to spend the holidays with other than my boyfriend but I promised my Nana in heaven that I would enjoy the day like she was here with me and it just wasn't going to be the same without turkey so I stopped here to get a Turkey dinner for nearly $30. The mashed potatoes were ice cold like they were scooped out of a container that was pulled out of fridge. The turkey was okay. I didn't eat the cranberry sauce because well I'm the what 1% that will pass on that stuff. The corn was okay. Definitely not worth the $30 I paid. I would absolutely return to enjoy the live entertainment while having a drink but I don't drink. Other than the food, this place is awesome.

Always enjoy a great meal from The Bridge Tender. Philly Cheese Steak with and w/out the bun. Both were good. A little on the dry side for us, but it was good. Triple Decker Turkey Club was the bomb. Ton of turkey. Their homemade coleslaw is definitely one of the better coleslaws around IMO. Younger female server was awesome, with a super fun personality. Definitely makes the customers feel good while enjoying some laughter. See y'all again, and again, and again...

I’d have to say that my very first impression of this place was, omg what did I walk into.There were only two servers and a bar tender, looked like they were struggling and was not greeted and left standing there for a while. One of the servers said that she’d be right with us as a group of four piled in behind us. Kinda reminded me of a bachelor’s basem*nt. I had the lemon drop and escargot for my appetizer. Blown away, the food was fantastic, shrimp fettuccine and Prime rib was great! Sure this isn’t a five star upscale restaurant… with fancy decor, but the food.. is on point and that’s all that matters. Our server was very nice and got everything correct, didn’t have to wait long once we sat and I will definitely be back!

Excellent sea grill in the Anna Maria area.Access is relatively easy and the area is great, it is located in front of the beach where the views of the sunsets are simply indescribable.The place is relatively small, it seems more like a house which gives it a very interesting family and intimate touch.The food is excellent, super fresh and very well prepared, with different options than those usually found (such as tuna tataki or shark filet).The attention is very cordial and pleasant, and invites the diner to feel at home and enjoy an excellent moment.Highly recommended to go to try new options or classic options from your menu with a different touch in the preparation.Recommended to go with the family

6 Stars. This place is wonderful in every way. Tom at the bar makes strong drinks and deserves large tips. The prime rib was perfect, suzy had seafood that was also great. The folks at the bar were great to chat with, made easier with extra rum in the drinks. The chocolate cake is also great. I highly recommend this place. We are going back tonight for more rum if anyone would like to join us.

Steve was our server and man was he Awesome! He did a stellar job making sure we were taken care of. We got all of our food from his recommendations and they were all absolutely delicious! The place has great service and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend dropping by for food and drinks!

My wife & I went here for dinner last night cause it looked good & seemed like it had a pretty cool atmosphere & it did not disappoint. I gotta give my compliments to the chef……. I got the lobster pasta & it was seriously unbelievable. Full big clumps of claw meat in it & everything else in the dish was fantastic. My wife got the mahi salad & she thought it was pretty good. Our server/service was also great, he was chill & friendly & did awesome. We will definitely be back!

Food was delicious, waitress was good. Atmosphere was really nice. We ate on the second floor. Great view. I will come back and highly recommend. Prices were not bad for the quality of food. Drinks are tasty.

Great deck views of waters on both sides! Good Mahi wrap, drinks, music, and Key Lime Pie for dessert. Nice atmosphere. Can get a little cool up top in the evening, multiple upper levels. Deck area probably not a great place to bring small children.

My friends and I came from different cities and end up eating here. The place was a bit crowded but the bartender did a great job. The food was great, the piña colada was amazing and we had a blast. My only suggestion is to add oysters.

We enjoyed Daiquiris at the Daiquiri Deck on 2 different days during happy hour. One was during the Christmas Street party where they close down Bridge Street. The other was on their deck with beautiful views of the sunset and busy Bridge Street.Happy hour offers 16oz souvenir cup daiquiris half off with an additional topper for an additional charge. If you like sweet drinks you will like these. If you get more than two don’t plan on driving anywhere. 😀Very good service. Clean. We only had drinks so I can’t speak of the food. I would recommend and come during happy hour.

Giving it 3 stars because it's a fun touristy thing to do. There are dozens of frozen drinks from which to choose. We also had some good raw oysters. Only giving 3 stars because we had to send back all our cooked food. It was fried sooo long it was hard and chewy. We literally could not bite through the calamari. The shrimp was burned. Plain and simple. Black chars on it. The fish didn't actually have black char on it, but it was cooked so long it was like a golf ball. The scenery and the drinks largely made up for the burned food. They did take it back. We declined ordering more. Three ruined dishes was enough for us not to trust the cooks further. So we enjoyed our co*cktails, then ate dinner across the street.

Moe was an awesome server! He took great care of us. The atmosphere, food and drinks were top notch. I recommend the jumbo lump crab cakes and the baked potato with the shrimp topping! Amazing!!

The daiquiris were excellent and If you like a bit of the tart side try the sweet tart. The food was OK but pretty dang pricey. The service was excellent and we had an amazing server.

Ambience and overall vibe is great, especially on the rooftop. The frozen drinks are good as well. The food overall was good also, although the wifey did say her fish was overcooked. They're not open late and they will let you know it, we were told "you have 19 minutes to order" don't get me wrong the servers overall are friendly, but this place isn't open late which is a shame, so much potential to be a nice late night bar. Maybe because it's "offseason"? We'll return here often, just not late night.

The atmosphere is amazing. You can set up stairs and see the golf from the deck area. The food is excellent. I had one of the poke bowls and their signature bloody mary. Everything they put in the bloody Mary was excellent. The only issue I had was parking which isn't completely their fault due to where they are located. I parked about a block away on the beach and walked up.

We love the Daiquiri Deck in Anna Maria Island. It is one of our favorite spot to eat and enjoy the fabulous view on the top floor. You can see the Gulf and the Sarasota bay which is awesome. But the best thing ist the food and the service! I love the alligator bites! One of the best in the area! See you soon!

Good food and atmosphere. Service was a struggle the day we visited due to short staffing. The drinks were great.

Our server Sarah was great! Super friendly. The view was amazing! The other server/bartender's grouchiness and condescending wrist slap when we started to try to raise an umbrella at a table tainted our experience, which was unfortunate because we were so excited to be there. For future reference, the umbrellas on the very top deck are there but arenot to be opened/raised because the wind will blow them over off the deck. It makes perfect sense and I'm sure he is tired of telling people, but we didn't see a sign to that effect (though there may be one) and didn't know. We love how the menu breaks down the drinks into sweet, creamy, and tart and something else. The drinks were tasty, but we recommend getting at least one shot, if not two. Gorgeous view!

Really amazing views and pretty decent food. Our server was super nice and courteous, but she was really swamped so was not there a lot. I got the chicken Caesar wrap which was pretty good. Don’t sleep on their dill dip. That’s the real star.

Me and my fiance James went on a short vacay to Longboat Key from the 1st to the 4th. Out of those days we dined at 3 different Daiquiri Decks but the one on Anna Maria Island was byfar our favorite. The food was incredible! Loved the Tropical Glazed Mahi Sandwich with the fries with house dill ranch....So good I got it twice! The Hushpuppies are a great starter too! We kept going back and specifically sat in Harrison's section. He was hilarious and personable and provided the most oustanding service out of all the places we dined across the Keys. Highly recommend checking it out and definitely ask for Harrison, he's usually on top deck! Try the Bowl of Fruit and the Patriot Missile and Banana Slider!!! Don't forget the extra Tooter!! 💗🍹🏝
